This last week, we decided to head up to Mt. Charleston and go hiking in the snow before it melted. Since Aaron was gone most of the winter, we haven't been able to go to our favorite mountain and enjoy the snow. It was a beautiful day and there is still plenty of snow to have fun in. We drove back to one of our favorite trails and started the hike. Aaron and Ashton threw snow balls at each other and me of course. It was fun just walking around and watching the boys play. We stayed for about an hour and then made our way back down the mountain. Ashton loved the snow and didn't want to leave. He is our little nature boy. We also got to see some pretty fresh animal tracks in the snow. Some were from dogs, others from wolfs, and even some deer. Going hiking with Aaron is always a nature lesson at the same time. His dad taught him very well and I am glad he is able to teach Ashton (and me). It was a fun day and I am really looking forward to next winter when we will actually be able to play in the snow a lot!
